The sky of Jeju Island, Korea |
Welcome to Korea Unpacked
Over the past few years, I’ve noticed more and more travelers from all around the world visiting Korea.
Walking down the street, you hear different languages, see diverse faces, and feel the growing curiosity about this country I call home.
It made me wonder:
“What if I could help people understand and explore Korea better — not as a tour guide, but as someone who lives here?”
And so, Korea Unpacked was born.
I'm a Korean in my 30s, currently living on Jeju Island, a place known as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.
Though I don’t live in Seoul, I bring you a view of Korea that’s a bit different — a bit more local, and hopefully, a bit more meaningful.
This blog will explore all things Korea.
From must-visit destinations and delicious local foods
to culture, traditions, and real travel tips
I’ll share what I know, what I’ve seen, and what I believe can help you.
Whether you're planning a trip to Korea,
or you're simply curious about this country
I’m writing every post with care, clarity, and a desire to help.
I hope Korea Unpacked becomes a place where you find useful information, inspiration,
and maybe even the nudge you need to start your own journey here.
